Chinese Herbal Formulas

Specific Herbal Formulas depending on individual conditions

Now Dr. Yang is serving the people of Northern Florida with convenient offices in Gainesville and Ocala. His practice has expanded thanks to the good results he has provided to his many patients in the two areas over the past several years. Perhaps he can help you, too.

What to expect…. At your first visit, Dr. Yang will provide consultation, examination and treatment. During consultation he will ask for detailed information about your health issues. Your medical history and health conditions are discussed thoroughly.

Then, he will perform an examination, in particular reading the pulse and tongue.

From the consultation and examination, Dr. Yang will develop a diagnosis (based on Traditional Chinese Medicine) and suggest the best and most specific treatment plan for addressing each patients’ specific conditions.

Treatment methods include Acupuncture, Electro-Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Therapy, Auricular Acupuncture (ear points), Moxibustion (moxa), Tuina, Pediatric Tuina, Cupping, Dietary Medicine, and so on. Dr. Yang has devised specific Chinese Herbal Formulas for his patients depending on their individual conditions. The initial visit usually requires about one and a half hours for a complete evaluation and treatment.

Follow-up visits will consist of a brief consultation and treatment; the treatment plan will be modified depending on the progression of patients’ conditions. It requires about 45 minutes for follow-up visits.

Generally, for acute problems, patients find relief after 2-3 acupuncture sessions. However, to obtain lasting benefits, 5-6 treatment sessions will typically be required. As for chronic problems, 10-12 treatment sessions will be necessary. This is considered to be one “course of treatment” for those with severe and multiple issues. For some special conditions, more sessions may be required to achieve relief and to provide the lasting results. Continued treatments help to sustain results.

Online consultations are available for those patients with needs anywhere there is a computer. Please Contact Us for details.
